By downloading or using Sleep Sounds (the "app"), built by HDFoundry, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Wellness disclaimer
Sleep Sounds is a wellness and relaxation app. It is not a medical device or a healthcare service. Its content, including guided meditations, breathing exercises, sleep sounds, and progress tracking, is provided for general relaxation and wellbeing only. It is not medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice, and is not a substitute for professional diagnosis, treatment, or care. Do not use the app as a replacement for advice from a qualified health provider. If you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, contact your local emergency services. Do not use sleep or relaxation audio while driving or operating machinery, or in any situation requiring your full attention.
Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using the app, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Use of the app
- You may use the app only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
- You must not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the app or its servers.
- You must not reverse engineer, modify, or redistribute the app.
Subscriptions and purchases
Sleep Sounds may offer optional in-app purchases or subscriptions that unlock premium content. Where offered:
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date
- You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store or Google Play account settings
- No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods, except as required by applicable law
- Prices are subject to change with notice
Advertising
Sleep Sounds is free to use. To support it, future versions may display advertising provided by third-party networks such as AppLovin. Ads are kept out of active playback and are separate from app content. Your use of any advertiser website or offer is governed by that third party's own terms and privacy policy, not ours.
Intellectual property
All content, audio, designs, trademarks, and software in the app are the property of HDFoundry or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the app without prior written permission.
Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided as is without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, HDFoundry shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including any reliance on its wellness content.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the app at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction.
Changes to terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
